Circular Competence

In 2020 Natural State founded Circularities — Circular Economy by Natural State, spearheaded by Cathrine Barth. The purpose of the department is to offer competence, circular transition strategies and market solutions for clients within public and privat sector. Since its launch we have worked with organisations like Nordic Innovation, Posten Norge and Virke, and held numerous lectures on sustainable economies at schools, hubs, industry events and festivals. This spring we are looking forward to do continue sharing knowledge on the circular economy — why it’s important to transition from linear to circular, and how organisations can take lead in the inevitable circular transition in the Nordics through innovation, business development, collaboration and structural change.

In the beginning of March we spent half a day with Blank, where we looked at circular economy in the design and technology industry. After an hour lecture, our team hosted a workshop where we brought the learnings down to a session on how Blank can work with this topic, opportunities and barriers in their value chain, and how they can make the company more circular.
