Fuglen is a multi-concept that includes a coffee bar by day, a cocktail bar by night, and a shop for vintage design throughout the opening hours. Fuglen opened as a coffee shop already in 1963, and quality coffee and tea is still a trademark of the place. Since the new opening in 2012, Fuglen has developed into a lifestyle brand, and functions as an offer and a method for sustainable and natural place development.
Today, you find Fuglen og Fuglen Coffee Roasters (Direct Trade Coffee) on several locations in Oslo and Tokyo, where each place is adapted to the neighbourhood and the building's uniqueness. Here you will find quality coffee and tea from direct trade, cocktails from fresh ingredients, bottled beer from Norwegian breweries, and high-quality vintage design. Everything you see, and sit in, is for sale; chairs, tables, lamps, crockery and ornaments! Fuglen is also famous for the intimate and unique events, such as Tuesday Jazz indoors or on the streets. Fuglen is an unique neighbourhood hub that adds value to the area in the form of increased place identity, belonging, experiences and jobs…not to mention the best coffee you’ve ever had.
